JOB DESCRIPTION

The entry level IT Analyst will be responsible for the support of the end user computing environment at LeverPoint.  This will consist of handling all support tickets as well as quarterly compliance reviews.  The IT Analyst will be actively engaged in new computer deployment,  as well as using Microsoft’s Active Directory and Exchange on a daily basis. Inherent to the position will be the constant communication with LeverPoint staff (~150 people) regarding support tickets, requests, and  anything technology related.  The IT Analyst will begin to automate tasks for the entire technology department by developing automation tools.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains and monitors desktop ticketing system.
  • Maintains IT asset list including all monitors, laptops, phones etc.
  • Opens tickets with 3rd party vendors as necessary.
  • Provides desktop support for all LeverPoint applications, MS Office, Bill Quick, QuickBooks, etc.
  • Creates quarterly compliance reports.
  • Create and present quarterly executive reporting.
  • Manages permissions across the LeverPoint production domain.
  • Configures all devices for new hires.
  • Create and configure all email boxes on Exchange server.
  • Create scripts to automate quarter end compliance process.
  • Automate repetitive task within the technology department.
  • Create custom tools to enable IT to function with higher efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or similar field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, time management, planning, and problem solving skills and the ability to multitask required.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and oral communication with all levels of LPM employees.

  • 1-2 years of desk-side support or related work experience preferred.
  • A+, MCP, Dell or other industry identified certifications are preferred.
  • Scripting and data base knowledge is a plus.
