Summary Description

 

The Training Coordinator will oversee the implementation and coordination of LeverPoint’s formal training program.  This role will be responsible for assisting in the analysis of training needs, the development of curriculum and the delivery course material.  The position will coordinate training schedules and evaluate applicable outside training resources as needed.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and deliver training programs for all levels of employees in the financial services field.
  • Develop and update teaching aids such as training binders, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, PowerPoint presentations and other training materials.
  • Consult with HR Manager and Management Team to assess training needs and to develop programs to match these needs.
  • Continually evaluate procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
  • Develop strong relationships with all LeverPoint Departments to develop course material and attain necessary feedback.
  • Report on progress of employees under training guidance and during training periods.
  • Maintain all employee training records and annual employee training calendar.
  • Additional administrative duties as needed, including scanning, copying and data entry as required for training preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication or related field.
  • 0-2 years’ previous experience in training field is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Work and Excel.
  • Customer service focus with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively through written and oral communication.
  • Ability to multitask; excellent communication, time management, planning and problem solving skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
