JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a Cash / Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk for our Management Company. Report to the Manager, Management Company, the clerk processes accounts payable functions for multiple companies on the LeverPoint Management Company Team. This position will require regular interaction with clients and team members.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of accounts payable experience and knowledge of wire/ACH and check processing. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, and Great Plains is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares scheduled and non-scheduled wire payments using several online banking systems
  • Processes high volume accounts payable across multiple companies
  • Processes weekly check runs and one-off check requests
  • Interacts with clients on a daily basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three to five years of experience processing accounts payables
  • Knowledge of wire/ACH and check processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Great Plains a plus
  • Professional and organized with excellent time management skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
